LIABILITY INSURANCE

Does your venue require Liability Insurance? What happens if someone is injured at your wedding? Liability Insurance covers you in the event that you become legally responsible for bodily injury, personal injury or property damage caused by an accident which occurs during the course of your covered event. If you purchase Liability coverage, Host Liquor Liability is automatically included. You can cover your rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all with one policy.

Liability Insurance coverage limits include:

• $1,000,000/$2,000,000
• $2,000,000/$2,000,000

Event Insurance by RVNA gives you the option to add Medical Payments to your Liability Insurance. Medical Payments pay reasonable medical expenses for each person who is injured, up to the specified limit, during the covered event for a covered cause of loss.

Liability Insurance and Medical Payments have no deductible. Property Damage Liability offers deductibles starting at $1,000 up to $10,000.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

What if you have to cancel your event? What if the bride or groom gets sick? What if a hurricane hits your wedding location and damages it prior to your event? What if the caterer doesn’t show up? Or the Officiant? What if you lose your wedding dress? What if one of you is in the military and your leave of absence is withdrawn? Cancellation/Postponement Insurance pays the nonrefundable expenses incurred when the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding or reception must be canceled or postponed for reasons beyond your control. If the wedding is canceled for a covered reason, the honeymoon expenses are also covered. Purchase cancellation coverage on its own or in combination with other coverages. Optional coverage limits and deductibles are available.

LOSS OF DEPOSITS INSURANCE

You have reserved the event location and placed a deposit. You paid more deposits to the band and caterer. Then, in the middle of planning your party, the caterer closes shop. They don’t answer their phone, and their voicemail is full. How do you get your deposit back? Loss of Deposits Insurance pays for lost deposits that you have paid if they become nonrefundable because someone you hired to provide goods, or services went out of business.

PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEO INSURANCE

Hiring a photographer or videographer for your party? What if the photographer fails to show up? What if the video recording is damaged? Photographs and Video Coverage will pay to retake the photographs or video recording if the photographer or videographer fails to appear, disappears after the wedding with your wedding pictures or video, or the pictures are lost, damaged or stolen. Our coverage pays to rehire a photographer, rent a premises to stage the photos, purchase a new cake and/or flowers, and rent necessary attire, if applicable. It also covers air and travel expenses for the honoree(s).
